My Story

I am about to embark on one of my most daring adventures yet. I've decided to take on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Race, a grueling 2,745-mile journey from Canada to Mexico. This race, notorious for its treacherous terrain and unpredictable weather, will be the ultimate test of my endurance and willpower.

My motivation for this incredible challenge stems from a deep compassion and desire to make a difference. I've set my sights on raising £20,000 for The Pepper Foundation, a charity that provides hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and supports their families during the most challenging times. This cause is close to my heart, and I'm determined to use my love for adventure to bring attention and much-needed funds to this vital organisation.

I am entirely self-funding this challenge, so 100% of all donations go directly to The Pepper Foundation.

In the months leading up to the race, I'll train tirelessly, cycling through the rugged hills and valleys near my home. My friends and family, though concerned about the dangers, will support me wholeheartedly, knowing how much this cause means to me.

I hope to cross the finish list within 30 days and having climbed over 5 times the height of Mt Everst, proving once again that with a bit of courage, a lot of heart, and a dash of madness, anything is possible.

You can follow my preparation and the race itself on Facebook here and Instagram here.

I'd love your support!
