About us

The Pepper Foundation is a local charity that raises money to fund a Children’s Hospice at Home nursing team in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. We fund 6 nurses that support around 70 children a month in order for them to stay at home, where they feel safest and most comfortable. We believe that every family deserves the choice to stay home at one of the most diffcult times of their lives and we are here to ensure they get that choice. 

Nursing care is provided free of charge in the comfort of patients’ own homes and specialist support is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. 
Each child receives flexible, responsive clinical support carefully tailored to their individual needs to enable them to live as fulfilling a life as possible, however short their life might be. 

We also know how important spreading joy is and help the families we support to make memories and new connections by providing free family days out and tailored play sessions within their homes which means so much to them.
